Installing the template
There are two ways in which you can install the template and this depends on whether you've edited the core files. To know which option to go with, check whether you've got the message 'Verification successful, no file modifications detected.' in your template admin panel.
If you've got 'no files modified' use option 1.
If you've 'some files modified' use option 2

1. No file modifications made
a. Install the new template (Joomla 3/2.5 )

2. Some template files have been modified

this is only applicable to css files. If you have modified any JS/PHP files to fix any bugs reported in the past, please use option 1 instead.

a. Take a backup of the files you have modified e.g. custom.css
b. Install the new template (Joomla 3/2.5)
c. Replace back your custom.css file.
